FAQ

How does it work?

Step 1: Consultation (a live meeting is always better:). Getting to know each other, discussing your needs, defining goals and style, choosing a date and time. Once we have agreed on the terms of our collaboration, payment of a deposit is needed. This guarantees the reservation.
Step 2: Preparation. Planning & development of the session concept. Selection of location, additional team members like stylist or MUA, equipment, props, clothing.
Step 3: Session. I show and explain what to do, how to set up, where to sit, etc. I care about my clients.
Step 4: Post-production. Selection and processing of photographic/video material.

What does the photo processing look like?

The processing of the photos includes light and colour correction, and the final set of photos undergoes light retouching: I remove imperfections such as pimples, herpes or dark circles under the eyes. I gently smooth out wrinkles, but not completely so that you look natural in a good way. I clean up the background, the surroundings and generally make the photo harmonious. Additional retouching is possible, to be discussed separately.

Are the photos published on media?

I can use all the photos in my portfolio when not otherwise agreed with the client. If the client publishes photos, it is customary to give the author's name.

How do I need to prepare for a session?

After the consultation, I send detailed instructions on how to prepare for the shoot from the client's side. It depends on the type of photo session (individual or for a company), how many people are involved, where it takes place and what we are actually photographing. The most important thing is trust, good energy and cooperation during the shoot:)

Is the service of a make-up artist necessary?

I always encourage people to use MUA service when we do portraits. Professional make-up (and hair styling!) for a photo shoot really makes a huge difference - it's 1/3 of the success. However, if a client is most comfortable with make-up done by themselves or a trusted person, there is no problem.

Are there any extra costs?

If needed, additional charges are:
- photo location hire (except for Portrait Max package)
- make-up artist (make-up and hair styling, except for Portrait Max package)
- services of additional specialists (stylist, assistant)
- all photos from the session without processing (+300 zł)
- retouching of additional shots (+40 zł/piece)
- rental of additional photographic equipment (in the studio or in an agency)
- transportation to the session location (10 km+ from Warsaw).
During the consultation I will talk about all the details and nuances.

Can the raw images be shared?

Raw images are not the result, they are just part of the service, like a half-cooked dish. Selection is an important process when I choose the ‘gems’ themselves, and processing is part of the author's style.
However, you can take the opportunity to purchase a whole set of good images from the shoot without processing. This is usually 40-100 shots in JPG format, from them photos for retouching are selected.
